TECHNOLOGY Services Group has bought Baron Corporate Systems (BCS).

The move will reinforce TSG's presence in Yorkshire and add 500 customers to the company's books.

BCS, based in Leeds, was formed by the management buyout of Baron Systems in 1997 and sells hardware and network solutions to customers that use Sage and Pegasus computer systems.

TSG, formed by Sage co-founder Graham Wylie, has been heavily acquisitive since its inception and has added six companies to its group in less than a year.

David Stonehouse, TSG chief executive, said: "Baron is a well-run and highly respected reseller with customer service at its heart.

"We plan to build on this success over the coming months and develop a strong presence within Yorkshire and the surrounding regions, both through organic growth and with further acquisitions."
