Bishop Auckland are facing an injury and suspension headache for their away trip to Prescot Cables today.
Bishops could have as many as nine players missing for various reasons as they look for their first win of the campaign, and manager Brian Honour said: "I suppose we're facing a little bit of a crisis, and hopefully I might sign a couple of players before the game.
"It will be a hard game, just as it always is when we go to Prescot.
"But I'm looking for a passionate response from the players after Monday's game. I want to see the Bishop Auckland of old."
Defenders Steve West and Chris Neil are both suspended, while Stuart Irvine, David McGurk, Chris Mason and Shaun Hope are also ruled out.
Keeper Adam Clementson, Neil Maddison and Stephen Brackstone will all have fitness tests.
Spennymoor are at home to Marine, and will be without striker Danny Brunskill, who has scored twice this season.
Midfielder David Colvin is also missing, so that will open the door for recent signing Scott Emerson to make his debut.
Moors are now sixth in the table, and general manager Tony Lee said: "We're looking to build a good unbeaten run. The potential is there in the squad to do it."
Midfielder Michael Jack, who got the winner on Monday against Farsley, has left the club, while striker Roy Allen will be missing for several weeks because of an Achilles injury.
