A TEENAGER had to be rescued by firefighters after falling on to rocks at a North-East seaside town yesterday.
Ambulance crews - alerted by a woman with a mobile phone at 2.50pm - needed firefighters' help to rescue the 14-year-old girl, who had fallen at South Gare, Warrenby, Redcar, east Cleveland, and was thought to have dislocated her knee.
The fire brigade used a rescue stretcher to lift the teenager from between the rocks to the road. She was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
