A PLAYGROUP in Darlington is looking for more members and a qualified leader.
Cockerton Methodist Playgroup wants to hear from parents after a fall in numbers due to increasing competition from nearby nurseries.
Manager Sharron Thompson is also looking for an NVQ3-qualified leader to work ten hours a week.
She said: "We have great fun and take the children on outings.
"When the weather is fine, we take them on the green and play football and have little walks."
The playgroup has about 30 members who use the facilities on various weekday sessions.
It is suitable for children aged two-and-a-half up to school age.
Youngsters are able to play with toys and care staff teach them about the world around them and hold craft sessions.
Ms Thompson said: "It is hard work but the smiles on their faces when they have made something is very rewarding."
