A FITNESS enthusiast will soon be pounding the roads around Loch Ness to raise money for a severely disabled three-year-old boy.
Mick Robson will run the Loch Ness Marathon on October 3 to raise money for Joshua Peacock, from Northallerton. Joshua suffers from a form of cerebral palsy and needs constant care.
Mr Robson, who also lives in Northallerton, is raising money to buy specialist lifting equipment.
He used to be an active member of Northallerton Round Table and Rugby Club, but now keeps fit by running marathons and playing five-a-side football and golf.
Last year, he completed the London Marathon, raising money for his severely disabled god-daughter.
Sponsorship money is already being collected for the Loch Ness Marathon and includes a £2 donation from Joshua's older brother Thomas.
Anyone who would like to sponsor Mr Robson can contact him on (01609) 770246
