MORE than 60 walkers travelled north from Cambridgeshire to pit themselves against the gruelling Lyke Wake Walk.
And their endurance hike across the North York Moors helped raise £50,000 for the special care charity Break, which takes the less able on seaside holidays.
The walkers, all representing various Cambridgeshire companies, were joined by Canon Leslie Morley, from Osmotherley, chairman of the trustees of the charity, which he helped found 36 years ago.
