Spennymoor include three new signings in their squad when they go to Matlock today.
After one win in five since the five-goal victory over Wakefield on the opening day of the season, Moors moved to strengthen their squad in midweek
They signed midfielders Keith Graydon from Blyth and John Toft from Shildon and keeper Phil Naisbitt.
Toft and Graydon have both been at Sunderland, while Naisbitt has been brought in because Darren Horrigan has gone to Conference club Scarborough.
Moors have also signed former Darlington midfielder Michael Oliver from Barrow, but he's not available until next week.
Moors, who have dropped into 12th place, have failed to score in each of their last two matches and general manager Tony Lee said: "I want us to have a more ruthless streak in front of goal.
"Some of the chances we missed at Blyth were ridiculous."
Lee has also has three players out injured, Jon Cullen, Johnny Butler and David Colvin, while Danny Brunskill is suspended.
Bishop Auckland will give new defender David Morgan his debut when they take on Bamber Bridge at the Brewery Field.
Morgan will go straight into the team at left back as Bishops search for their first win of the season, and also lift themselves out of the bottom two.
Manager Brian Honour said: "It's too early to judge us, and I'm certainly not panicking yet.
"We've got several players to come back into the team, and the time to judge us will be when we have all those players back and playing.
"I haven't been able to get our best team on the pitch yet, because of the injuries and suspensions."
Defender Chris Neil and midfielder Kevin Dixon are both suspended. Striker Shaun Hope is injured and midfielder Stuart Irvine is still recovering from a knee injury, although he will be on the bench.
Whitby, under the temporary guidance of Dave Logan following the departure of Harry Dunn, are at Leek Town, while Gateshead are at home to Farsley Celtic.
