A TEESDALE lodge of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes has made a charitable donation to the local rescue team.
Members of the Barnard Castle-based King Edward VIII Lodge of the RAOB handed over £500 to the Teesdale and Weardale Search and Rescue Team.
Before handing over the cheque to team leader David Bartles-Smith, the members were treated to a tour of the premises.
The members decided to donate to the team because it helps in both rural and urban areas.
Members Malcolm Bonnett and Sam Holden presented the cheque to Mr Bartles-Smith, who expressed his thanks.
Earlier this year, the lodge decided to increase its charitable donations and has already given £500 to the Great North Air Ambulance.
