YOUNGSTERS are being encouraged to attend the first ever workshop session of the Darlington Youth Choir.
The choir will be led by three experienced singing teachers, Hilary Ions, Andy King and Emma Horsburgh, who are all involved in outstanding choral work in the North-East. The service is being offered by the Durham County Music Support Service.
A service spokesman said: "We are committed to involving as many young people in singing as possible. Two concerts are already arranged for the choir.
"All voices are welcome. If you enjoy meeting new people and can sing in tune, please come along."
It will be held next Tuesday, from 4.30pm to 6pm, in Carmel College's new music building and all other Tuesdays during term time.
