A FOSTERING provider in Darlington is looking to train more people to work with vulnerable children in outreach programmes.
Jafa (Pipss) Limited is looking for more people to work with and support children that have been fostered with carers through the Jafa organisation.
The company was set up to provide professional social learning and outreach services, aimed at building children's confidence and self-esteem, and to help escort youngsters to appointments and court.
Christine Johnson, support services manager, said the company was looking for people with life experience to recruit and train to work with vulnerable children and young people.
"We work in partnership with the local authority and fostering agencies to give children new experiences," she said.
Java (Pipss) also provides supervised contact, where children can have a safe meeting with their parents or loved ones.
Anyone interested in becoming a support associate is asked to contact the firm on (01325) 389389 for an application pack.
