THE Fat Controller visited Shildon Library to entertain youngsters with tales of Thomas the Tank Engine.
The storytelling event, organised in conjunction with Surestart, had a railway theme as the library celebrates the forthcoming opening of the town's multi-million pound museum on Saturday, September 25.
Joyce Strong, from the library, said: "The children have really enjoyed the stories. We chose a Thomas The Tank Engine theme to coincide with the opening of the Railway Museum."
