ENERGY experts are out to prove that living in the country does not mean householders have to be left out in the cold.
As part of Energy Efficiency Month in October, a home energy roadshow will be touring with North Yorkshire's mobile library service.
Harrogate Borough Council's energy conservation experts will be giving free advice on energy saving, including information about grants and any special offers.
The authority's cabinet member for housing, Jean Butterfield, said: "October is often the month when the weather gets colder and we start to think about how best to heat our homes.
"We are committed to improving energy efficiency across the district but we also want to help people keep their homes properly heated.
"Keeping warm is especially important for elderly people, but there will be good advice available for everyone. Using the mobile library service is a good way for us to get out and about the district."
