THE Fat Controller paid a visit to Shildon Library to entertain youngsters with tales of Thomas The Tank Engine.
The storytelling event, organised in conjunction with SureStart, took railways as its theme to coincide with the opening of the town's multi-million pound Locomotion museum on Saturday, September 25.
Joyce Strong, from the library, said: "The children have really enjoyed the stories. We chose a Thomas The Tank Engine theme to coincide with the opening of the railway museum.''
The library also has photographs and information on display from railway museums and model railway clubs from throughout the region.
