A STREET warden service will receive Government approval on Monday.
Middlesbrough Mayor Ray Mallon will confirm the acknowledgement when he presents the town's team with the Quality Standard Award.
Mr Mallon said: "We have made a real difference in the town and we are delighted to have Government recognition of that.
"This is down to the hard work and commitment of all staff as well as the support from local people and organisations."
