CHILDREN will benefit from a National Lottery grant for culture, creativity and community workshops.
A £4,150 grant has been awarded to the Jennyfields Styan Community Centre, in Harrogate, for the three Cs project, which will include arts, drama, music and multicultural workshops.
They will be held twice a month at the centre and will be available to all children aged nine to 13 in the Jennyfield and Killinghall area.
The first workshop will be about banners and mosaics. It will be run by the Rural Arts Group and will take place on Saturday, October 2, from 10am to 3.30pm. Children need to bring a packed lunch, but everything else is free.
Spaces are limited, so bookings must be made on (01423) 521667.
