THIRTY bikers delivered donated dog food to an animal sanctuary yesterday.
Every year, bikers from the Hartlepool Misfits motorbike club travel the area collecting treats, tins and bags of food for the Dog's Trust at Sadberge, near Darlington.
Angela Avey, of the rehoming centre, said: "They do it every year, and it makes a big difference.
"It's like an annual event for us now, people know about it, so they donate the food and the bikers collect it on their way over here.
"We get a lot of dogs looking for homes through the year, so the food they bring, and there is loads of it, is enough to fill our garage. It's a huge help."
