JUDGES have had a blooming difficult job picking winners in an annual flower competition.
The contest was open to all residents of the Tees Valley Housing Group.
Terry and Ada O'Hara, of Phoenix Park, Middlesbrough, and June and George Teasdale won the contest, which was aimed at making the group's properties more attractive by using colourful floral displays. Mr and Mrs O'Hara won the hanging basket and pots category, while Mr and Mrs Teasdale won the garden section.
A team of judges from Tees Valley Housing Group, including head of community investment Deborah Stephenson visited the homes of entrants to view hanging baskets, displays and gardens.
