FIVE remote-controlled model helicopters and associated equipment worth nearly £2,000 were stolen from a garden shed in Darlington.
The burglary took place between 8pm on August 31 and 3pm on September 1.
The haul included an unassembled Thunder Tiger V2 Raptor model in white and orange, worth £645; two custom 90 helicopters, one white, one blue, worth £900; a JR 30 model in red, black and white, with a black rotor blade, valued at £100; and a Raptor 60 V2 helicopter in white, with blue decals.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the items being used.
