A THEATRE is running a free event to mark the return of a drama company.
York Theatre Royal is hosting two rehearsed readings from the DAC Theatre Company.
Readings of the play Never the Same Again will take place in The Studio on Friday and Saturday, at 7.45pm.
Never the Same Again is a story about the 1980s Miners' Strike as told by women in the pit communities.
Tickets for the readings are free and can be obtained by calling (01904) 623568.
DAC was a professional theatre company in Doncaster.
Members toured clubs and school halls in South Yorkshire.
The company had to disband when it had council funding withdrawn in 1989.
