A SAUNA at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre is to re-open following a £215,000 refurbishment.
The development is a joint investment between Sedgefield Borough Council and Lifestyle Fitness Suite's parent company, Competition Line.
The sauna will re-open from Monday. Opening hours will be 8am to 9pm every day.
The £215,177 work has included a juice bar, steam room, Jacuzzi and sauna.
To celebrate the investment, Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre is presenting every customer with a free complimentary drink from the juice bar.
The first 12 customers at the official re-opening will receive a free luxury bath towel.
