A cyclist is riding 800 miles to Brighton from his North-East home to raise awareness of a charity.
Colin Brannen, who is in his 60s, left from Newcastle on Sunday.
The Christian Aid supporter will join the Campaign for Trade Justice at the Labour Party Conference.
He will arrive in West Chillington, near Brighton, on Friday, before joining the campaign march on Sunday.
He said: "I'm not interested in publicity for myself, but for the cause of Trade Justice."
Christian Aid and other members of the movement believe that international trade rules should be changed to allow governments in poor countries to choose the best solutions to end poverty.
A member of Westerhope Methodist Church, Mr Brannen has been a Christian Aid supporter for many years.
