A TROPHY awarded in memory of a Bedale High School pupil killed in a road accident has been won by her sister.
Ashleigh Robinson, who has chosen PE as a GCSE subject, won the Becky Robinson Cup for her effort in girls' sport.
The trophy was inaugurated this year in memory of Ashleigh's sister, Becky, who was killed in a road accident between Richmond and Brompton-on-Swale in June.
Ashleigh represents the school at hockey and netball, and has achieved North Yorkshire standard in athletics and cross country.
Fellow pupil Joanne Patrick also notched a success.
She received the Roy Mitchinson Trophy for outstanding achievement in girls' sports. She also represents the school at hockey and netball and is studying in year 11 for a GCSE in physical education.
