A HEALTH trust's strategic plans for the next five years will be unveiled at a public board meeting on Friday.
Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Primary Care Trust will present Better at Home, a plan which includes chronic disease management, community hospitals, older people and public health.
A second proposal, Safeguarding Children and Supporting Children in Need and their Families, will also be presented.
Kevin Pulford, the trust's director of community services, said: "Along with the Acute Trust, we have jointly introduced a number of changes in working practices to include accountability, audit, child health records, and training.
"The key areas in our strategy will address a range of issues, roles and responsibilities.
"It will also include the need to strengthen and integrate the team of lead health professionals for children.
"With this strategy, the trust can help those children and families who are identified as being in need."
The meeting takes place at Stakesby Manor, Manor Close, Whitby at 1.30pm.
