A village fair marking the launch of a £310,000 scheme to build three play areas has been hailed a success.
More than 300 people attended the event, in Langley Park, Durham.
It was staged by the Equal Partnership, representing the villages of Esh, Quebec, Ushaw Moor and Langley Park, and aims to build play areas in Langley Park, Esh and Quebec. The event raised £550 for play area funds.
