STARS of North-East business and industry helped raise £54,000 at the Entrepeneurs Forum charity ball.
Guests were dressed as their favourite star of the silver screen from Marilyn Monroe to Mike Myers and Judy Garland to J-Lo.
The glamorous event was held at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, at the weekend, in aid of the Percy Hedley Foundation.
The money was raised through an auction with lots including a Mini Convertible donated by Sir Peter Vardy, a week's stay in Duncan Bannatyne's seven-bedroom villa in the south of France and a chance to be a racehorse owner for a day courtesy of Mike Browne of ScS.
The money will pay for 16 power chairs and equipment for the Power Chair Rugby Team at the Percy Hedley Foundation.
