SIX people were arrested in the latest clampdown on anti-social behaviour in a North-East town.
Police in Stockton arrested five people for being drunk and disorderly and one for possession of drugs with intent to supply.
The arrests were made on Friday and Saturday as part of the ongoing Cleveland-wide Operation Sabre.
Officers in Stockton were joined by teams from Langbaurgh and Middlesbrough as well as Stockton Borough Council's licensing department.
Chief Inspector Mick Williams, of Stockton police, said: "There is a minority of people who think alcohol is an excuse to resort to violent and criminal activity.
