AN ENGINEERING company has been set up in the North-East with the help of Darlington business advisors Clive Owen and Co.
ABS Precision Limited, on the Bellway Industrial Estate, Benton, Newcastle, enlisted the help of Clive Owen and Co partner and grant specialist Neville Baldry.
Mr Baldry assisted the business, which produces precision machinery, to apply for a Selective Finance for Investment Grant from Government agency One NorthEast.
The £50,000 grant is one of 15 he has worked on this year and forms part of £1.5m being claimed on behalf of Clive Owen and Co's clients.
Mr Baldry also liaised with North Tyneside Council to secure a further £1,000 funding for the new company.
