Pupils have held a collection for the victims of the Beslan School siege.
About 330 people, many of them children, died in the attack on the Russian school earlier this month.
Students at Allertonshire School, in Northallerton, decided to go around the classrooms and make a collection which they hope to send to Beslan in the next week.
One of the organisers, Emma Leete, said, "The idea came to me when I was reading a national newspaper.
"I was reading about the terrorism in Russia, and how the school got blown up.
"It made me think. I knew I wouldn't like it if I was in that position. So I came up with the idea of doing a collection, which eventually raised £88.03."
