A COURSE will start next month for people with long-term health problems.
The Living Well project aims to help patients in the Stokesley area.
Graham Purdy, course co-ordinator from Hambleton and Richmondshire Primary Care Trust, said: "The course is designed to help people with long-term health conditions regain as much control over their physical and mental well-being as possible.
"It is not about learning how to manage your diabetes, asthma or depression from a medical point of view, but about learning skills to help you get the most out of life, given the fact that you have a long-term health condition."
So far, three courses have been held in the county.
The trust is now targeting people in Stokesley, Great Ayton and Hutton Rudby for the next course, which will be held at the headquarters of the North Riding County Football Association, Brough-ton Road, Stokesley, on Monday afternoons, for six weeks from October 18.
Anyone who suffers from a long-term health condition can find out more by calling (01845) 573853.
