A TRIO of talented young trials riders from North Yorkshire are in action in an international event in Spain this weekend.
Katy Sunter, from Healaugh near Richmond, is all set to ride for Great Britain in the Women's Trial des Nations in Cordoba tomorrow. She joins Donna Fox and new national champion Becky Cook in the British team after Maria Conway was forced out through injury.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old Becky Rennison from Northallerton and Richmond's Kathryn Wardle compete in today's second round of the Women's Cup, the female equivalent of the world trials championship.
On Sunday, Dougie Lampkin leads the British team with Graham Jarvis, Sam Connor and Steve Colley in a bid to capture the coveted Trials des Nations team trophy.
The three events will attract riders and spectators from all points of the compass.
Becky Rennison and Kathryn Wardle are in fine form, having finished first and second respectively in last Saturday's women's international event at Tossa del Mar in Spain.
