A COUNTY Durham community group is appealing for residents to help plan future projects.
The Burnt Houses, Esperley and Cockfield Community Partnership needs more members to help get new projects off the ground.
Recent projects it has worked on include new paving in Cockfield, seating in Esperley and Cockfield and entrance features at both ends of Esperley.
It has also been working with local children. In Cockfield, young people worked with Groundwork West Durham to design a seating area and skate park.
A play area is also being built by SureStart for under-fours in Teesdale.
The partnership's next meeting is on Tuesday, October 12, at Cockfield Community Centre, starting at 7pm, and all are welcome.
