"We intend to use the grant to improve our infrastructure and update our technology, thereby giving us the capacity to take on more staff.
"The business is growing daily and this grant will enable us to better meet our existing client's demands as well as compete for new business."
John Leer, strategic investment manager at Tees Valley Regeneration, said: "We are delighted that Rocket Science has been awarded an RSA grant.
"The company has been very successful in competing for and winning national clients from their current location.
"Rocket Science's commitment to stay in Middlesbrough, whilst at the same time expanding their operations, will help persuade other companies the Tees Valley is a thriving place from which to do business."
Richard Dowson, business development officer at Middlesbrough Council described Rocket Science as a key player within the Middlesbrough and Tees Valley area because of its skills and workforce.
