POLICE arrested a man after being called to an incident in a Teesdale pub.
Police were called after a man claimed he had been punched at the Royal Oak, in Staindrop, on Friday night. The man, who was in a drunken state, became abusive and uncooperative and was subsequently arrested.
Sergeant Bill Dutton of Barnard Castle said: "There is still an investigation on-going and there is possibility a public order offence has been committed.
