CANNABIS and cocaine with a total value of £15,000 was discovered by police in an allotment shed.
A total of nine cannabis resin bars weighing nine ounces and several ounces what what is thought to be cocaine were seized.
Middlesbrough Drugs Squad raided the shed on Town Farm Allotments on Cargo Fleet Lane on Thursday night and arrested a 35-year-old man.
The man, who has been released on police bail pending forensic enquiries, was found to have £1,500 on him. A spokesman for the drugs unit said the raid was another example of the continuing clampdown on drugs activity and there would be let up in dealing with the drugs menace.
