THE Mayor of Middlesbrough will hold his next public debate, which will cover issues of law and order, next week.
This will be the latest in a series of meetings on law and order and transport, which Ray Mallon is hosting across the town during 2004.
Residents in east Middlesbrough are invited to go along to the meeting, which takes place at 6.30pm on Wednesday, at Middlesbrough Teaching and Learning Centre in Tranmere Avenue, Middlesbrough.
They will be able to discuss topics including anti-social behaviour, car crime, house burglary and fear of crime.
Guests at the debate will include the Recorder of Middlesbrough, Judge Peter Fox QC; chief superintendent of Cleveland Police, Mark Braithwaite; and executive member for community safety and leisure for Middlesbrough, Councillor Barry Coppinger.
People from the south of the town will be invited to Mr Mallon's next public debate on transport, which will be held at 6.30pm on Thursday, October 21, at Acklam Grange School, Lodore Grove, Acklam.
