NORTHERN Echo photographer Brian Clough is in the spotlight at a gallery where he has taken scores of pictures.
Brian, who has won a number of awards, including Rothmans Press Photographer of the Year, is displaying photographs at Seaton Holme, in Easington Village, east Durham.
Brian, who is well-known to country music fans as a radio presenter and is part of the Durham Local Radio team, has taken pictures of many well-known landmarks in his spare time.
The subjects include The Angel of the North, Durham Cathedral and a panorama of the former Consett steelworks.
Some were photographed for an instructional video on using digital cameras.
He said: "It seems strange that it is 28 years ago to the month that I joined The Northern Echo and here I am having my first exhibition.
"I have taken pictures of other people's exhibitions over the years and the gallery asked me if I would like to put on a display. There are a lot of familiar landmarks but taken from a different angle."
The exhibition runs until Thursday, October 28, from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Admission is free.
