A MILLIONAIRE father has written to Tony Blair threatening more high-profile stunts after he scaled a landmark dressed as a superhero.
The former managing director of Dell Computers, Howard Bashford, 43, wrote to the Prime Minister and accused him of causing his son emotional abuse because of family laws.
Last week, Middlesbrough-born Mr Bashford and Stephen Fletcher, 33, from Sunderland, scaled Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge dressed as Batman and Robin in a Fathers4Justice protest against family laws. The pair stayed on the bridge for nine hours.
Mr Bashford, who previously did not reveal his identity, has since written to the Prime Minister.
He wrote: "I vow to perform an even higher-profile activity if you continue the emotional abuse of our child."
He said he has spent almost £1m in legal costs fighting for access to his son.
He said: "I was never expecting how unfair, unjust and inconsistent the courts are to fathers."
