PEOPLE providing accommodation across Hambleton are joining forces in a new group.
Up to 40 people are expected to attend the first meeting of the Hambleton Accommodation Forum in Thirsk later this month.
Tourism bosses from the local council, who are organising the meeting, hope it will be as successful as the Herriot Country Attractions Group.
"We want this forum to give the accommodation providers a platform to air their views to the tourist industry - whether on a local, regional or national matter," said tourism manager David Shields.
"Coming together as one voice will have more clout when it comes to getting things done."
The first meeting will see members updated on tourism by council officers and the Yorkshire Tourist Board. A demonstration of the online booking system Nexus will also be given.
The meeting takes place on October 19 at 7.30pm at the Golden Fleece in Thirsk.
