A STUDENT who claims she was raped has told how she pleaded with her two attackers to be set free.
Teesside Crown Court heard how the 17-year-old girl struggled with Wayne Burdis and Ashley Allon telling them that she wanted to go home.
Interviewed by a female police officer, she said she was "upset and angry" as a result of the alleged attack in woods.
Mr Burdis, 20, of Hollyhill Gardens, and Mr Allon, 19, of Coates Close, both in Stanley, County Durham, deny rape on September 18, last year.
Yesterday, the jury at Teesside Crown Court were played recordings of taped interviews where the 17-year-old was interviewed by detectives.
Judge Peter Armstrong dispensed with his wig while he spoke to the girl at intervals on a television link.
The girl, who has learning difficulties, frequently broke down and was in tears as she gave her account of the attack.
She said that she was followed by the two men after getting off a bus, with Mr Burdis grabbing hold of her wrists.
She said he then held her down while Mr Allon raped her.
Mr Allon also denies a charge of indecent assault.
The trial continues.
