MORE than 150 business delegates are expected to attend a one-day intellectual property exhibition and seminar programme next week.
The event, at the Hotel St Nicholas, in Scarborough, on Monday, has so far attracted interest from across North Yorkshire.
The exhibition is being led by Support from Assured Professionals, a two-year project that brokers and part-funds legal advice to small and medium-sized enterprises in the county's upland and coastal areas.
The hub of the day will be a series of seminars addressing intellectual property issues.
Project manager Karl Elliott said: "Understanding and managing intellectual property issues can be of huge commercial value to businesses but can be costly and damaging to their market credibility if they get it wrong."
