THREE directors have been elected by York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
President Andrew Lindsay, 46, a partner at York-based commercial lawyers Denison Till, succeeds HSBC banker Mark Vines.
Diana Golding, who is manager of the Coppergate shopping centre, in York, takes over as vice-president.
For the first time, the chamber has elected a Scarborough-based director, Mark Husler, the chief executive of North Yorkshire Moors and Coast Business Advice Service.
His election follows the chamber's growing membership on the East Coast after the launch of networking lunches in Scarborough.
The managing director of Response Marketing, York, David Tysall, and the chairman of Science City York, Professor Gareth Lloyd-Jones, were re-elected as directors.
The chamber serves an area from Settle, Richmond, Scarborough and Selby and represents the interests of hundreds of member businesses.
