HEALTH workers in Darlington are being helped to get the right balance in their lives by a dedicated officer.
Pauline Woods has been appointed work/life balance co-ordinator by Darlington Primary Care Trust to ensure staff are happy in their jobs and don't work for too many hours a week.
She said: "A lot of people are under pressure at work and in their home lives but at least we have the right culture here. Hopefully, by getting the balance right the only reason people will leave is for personal development."
