A faIR will be held in Durham Town Hall on Sunday for people who suffer from gluten allergies.
Dieticians from the University Hospital of North Durham will be at the annual event to give advice and information on coeliac disease. Food manufacturers who make gluten-free products will be showing their products.
There will also be cookery demonstrations and the Durham Coeliac Support Group will be in attendance.
The event runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Dietician Lorna Carr said: "In North Durham alone we have over 200 registered coeliacs.
"Symptoms of untreated coeliac disease include weight loss, anaemia, diarrhoea and brittle bone disease."
