HEALTH chiefs in County Durham have produced a guide to a healthy Sunday lunch.
It was produced by Durham Dales Primary Care Trust and County Durham and Darlington Priority Services NHS Trust.
It says that Sunday lunch is an excellent time for families to meet and relax. The guide outlines how to make a traditional Sunday lunch in a healthy way, keeping salt and fat content low.
PCT public health specialist Ken Ross said: "These days, many people are stressed with their busy lives and feel they can't get any time to unwind and relax.
"The Get Together, Eat Together guide shows people how a Sunday lunch can address both their physical and mental health needs at the same time."
The guide outlines the importance of spending quality time with family and friends.
