RENOWNED photographer Joe Cornish realised a dream with the launch of a new gallery dedicated to his landscape work.
To mark the opening, he unveiled the second in a series of special limited editions, a dramatic picture of the Millennium Bridge over the Tyne at sunset.
It complements a picture of the replica Endeavour leaving Whitby harbour, which was a sell-out when it was released last year.
More than 200 guests gathered for the opening of the gallery, in Zetland Street, in Northallerton.
Joe is widely regarded as one of the country's leading landscape photographers. He was born in Exeter in 1958 and was previously an art student and a photographer's assistant before becoming a full-time photographer in 1985.
He worked as a travel photographer for ten years but since moving to North Yorkshire in 1993 has devoted himself to landscape.
He is now the first-choice landscape photographer for the National Trust and has worked for many environmental agencies, as well as producing articles for photography magazines. His work is featured in more than 30 travel books and he is working on a book of landscape photography in Scotland.
Much of his work highlights the natural beauty of the North of England.
There is only one other outlet where Joe's work is available - his gallery in Stokesley's College Square.
His work can also be seen on the website www.joecornish.com.
