THE Arc in Stockton opened its doors on Saturday to let people see for themselves what the centre has to offer.
The building, in Dovecot Street, consists of three floors with theatres, a cinema, exhibition spaces, a dance studio, meeting rooms, a cafe and two bars.
A workshop was held from 11am to 1pm at the Point, focusing on the theme of Halloween.
At 2pm the Mayor of Stockton, Councillor Jennie Beaumont, presented certificates to families who have taken part in family learning at the centre during the year.
As both a producing and presenting venue, the centre provides a range of entertainment from across the region and has something for everyone - theatre, music, comedy, dance, and films.
Arc Kids get involved with all things fun and creative, with emphasis on drama, dance, singing and visual arts.
Workshop leader Mik Errington and assistant Lizzie Purdham create an exciting, fun environment for seven to 11-year-olds.
