With the likes of Arcalis, Inglis Drever and Chivalry, to name just a few, Howard Johnson and millionaire owner Graham Wylie have made a sizeable impression both on the Flat and over jumps in the last 12 months.
And the pair can strike again with the lightly raced Tsaroxy in the racinguk.tv Joe Carr Memorial Nursery over six furlongs at Ayr this afternoon.
Following a couple of decent efforts at Newcastle and over this course and distance behind subsequent Group winner Shamardal, the juvenile got off the mark when successful at Redcar in August.
An easy surface looks the key to him and, with testing conditions likely at the Scottish venue, he can come through his stiffest task to date with flying colours.
A soft surface is no problem for Double Vodka, who can return to winning ways by lifting the Subscribe To Racing UK On 08700 860432 Lochranza Handicap over a mile and a quarter.
Lynda Ramsden's three-year-old rattled up a quick-fire three timer in July and August and proved his penultimate run at Redcar where he pulled too hard to be all wrong when third at Pontefract last week.
That effort over a mile suggested that the return to this longer trip would be in his favour and he's taken to beat Michael Jarvis' unexposed Reem One, who showed the right attitude when successful on her debut.
Jarvis can be on the mark though with Zayn Zen in the European Breeders Fund Linfern Maiden Fillies Stakes and with Divine Gift in the Dawn Construction Conditions event, both over a mile.
The former has shown more than enough to suggest she can give a good account now back on an easy surface and the latter looks to have Saeed bin Suroor's Sabbeeh to beat in the closing event.
Bin Suroor has prospects of a double at Leicester in both divisions of the E B F Hare Maiden Fillies' Stakes with Hashimiya and Saywaan but a better value bet could be Mark Johnston's Carte Diamond in the toteplacepot Handicap over a mile and a half.
The three-year-old has come a long way in a short time and followed his battling success over this trip at York with a very creditable run behind a similarly progressive sort at Newmarket last time.
The drop back to this trip won't be a problem and he's taken to beat progressive pair Nordwind and Corsican Native.
Richard Fahey's team has been in absolutely tremendous form and his Shamrock Tea, who will relish the bit of cut in the ground, looks worth a wager in the Teletext Racing "Hands And Heels" Apprentice Series Handicap over seven furlongs.
At Windsor Oeuf A La Neige, who has been running really well of late, can supplement his recent course and distance win in the National Hunt Racing Returns To Windsor Handicap over six furlongs.
Greg Chung's four-year-old was taken off his feet over five furlongs behind the very speedy Playful Dane last Friday but was staying on to really good effect in the closing stages and will be well suited by the return to this trip.
Lorna Dune will be well suited by the return to a mile and selling company and is fancied to go close in the Haines Watts Chartered Accountants Selling Handicap.
