A SERIES of workshops are being held to encourage young people to play a greater role in community life.
Youth groups and community organisations that work with young people are invited to the event at the Rossmere Youth Centre in Hartlepool on Monday, November 1.
The conference has been organised by Co-ordinated Youth Provision, which includes the youth service, Barnardos, Families First, Connexions and Hartlepool Voluntary Development Agency (HVDA).
Peter Gowland, of HVDA, said: "Young people have the right to express their views and be heard."
For more information on the conference, which is free, contact Mr Gowland on (01429) 262641.
