TEENAGERS on Teesside are to be set some challenges this week to get them interested in higher education.
Year nine pupils from Freebrough Community College in Loftus, Saltburn, will be challenged to "make something of themselves," as part of National Construction Week and the Aimhigher roadshow.
The Aimhigher roadshow, supported by NatWest, will visit the school today.
Pupils will take part in a activities designed to demonstrate how higher education could lead to one of the 86,000 job opportunities available in construction every year.
These include everything from architecture and engineering to site management.
Activities will be supervised by professionals.
