Artist Gina Morton's contrasting methods of creating watercolours are to be featured in a one-woman exhibition which opens this month.
The successful painter, who is based in Darlington, is to put her large and tiny offerings on display in the Castle Gallery, in Barnard Castle, County Durham.
Her traditional ways of using washes in her larger works of art is totally different to the stipples of colour she uses for her detailed miniatures. There is also a contrast between light and dark in both styles.
A large selection of each type will be included in the exhibition, which runs from Thursday, October 28 until Wednesday, November 3.
